The region also operates 2 active HDR programs, via Nucletron afterloaders. Planning and verification systems include: Eclipse, BrainLab, VariSeed, Oncentra,&nbsp;Aria, Radformation, and RadCalc. With this level of technology there are few special procedures that are not offered. Programs include: SBRT, SRS, HDR, LDR, and radiopharmaceuticals. Also provides many vendor webinars, its own journal club, and the opportunity to serve on many company-wide physics committees.<br> <br>&nbsp;<br> <br>The candidate should have a MS or PhD degree in Physics or Medical Physics from an accredited college or university and a minimum of two to five yearsâ experience in radiation oncology physics. Equipment in use at this location includes a Varian TrueBeam, 2 Varian Clinacs (Novalis TX and 21iX), GE CT, Bravos HDR afterloader, Mosaiq R&V, Eclipse, iPlan, MME, BrachyVision and VariSeed TPS. The fully staffed team includes 3 Radiation Oncologists, 3 ABR Certified physicists, 3 Certified Medical dosimetrists, 7 Radiation Therapists and 1 Chief Therapist.<br> <br><br><br> <br>This practice site&nbsp;is part of the Dallas region which consists of&nbsp;6 radiation oncology centers supported by a total of 10 Medical Physicists and 10 Radiation Oncologists. While each center is operationally independent, the physics staff collaborate on special projects and assist each other as needed; coordinated by a regional Chief Physicist.&nbsp;In addition to external beam therapy (3D, IMRT and VMAT), there are active SBRT programs at 5 centers, HDR programs at 5 centers, TBI programs at 2 centers, radiopharmaceuticals at 3 centers, a CyberKnife program at 1 location and a CAMPEP accredited physics residency program based at 1 location.<br> <br><br><br> <br><strong>Responsibilities</strong><br> <br><br><br> <br><strong>Preferred Experience:</strong><br> <ul><li>Working knowledge of Varian linear accelerators as well as Varian Bravos HDR afterloader</li><li>Working knowledge of Eclipse and BrainLab TPS</li><li>A working knowledge of MOSAIQ Record and Verify system.
