Under general supervision. accurately positions patients and administers prescribed radiation doses according to the designated treatment plan. Maintains efficient patient flow and provides supportive care by assessing potential side effects and psychosocial needs to collaborate with physicians and other departments. Supports and adheres to the clients Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.
All client facilities use CMS Monaco for treatment planning, Mosaiq’s R&V system and Elekta linacs to deliver treatment; each site can sim patients and is attached to a full medical oncology suite.
The main campus offers additional treatment options including nuclear medicine, a full imaging suite, an HDR suite and Precision treatment planning for Tomotherapy.
5 linear accelerators are housed at the main campus, including 2 Tomotherapy units, 3 Elekta units (1 Infinity, 2 Versa HD (SRS/SBRT capable)) and a dedicated HDR suite utilizing Flexitron and Oncentra planning.
The successful applicant will join a team consisting of 4 radiation oncologists, 7 dosimetrists, 3 physicists, 1 medical physics assistant and 22 therapists.
Qualifications:
-Graduate of an accredited radiation therapy technology program.
-A current ARRT certification, or registry eligible, is required.
-CPR certification required.
-A minimum of one to two years’ experience working in radiation therapy preferred.
-Great interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and customer service skills a priority.
-Professionalism displayed through sound judgement, initiative, and flexibility a must.
-Strong organizational, problem-solving and follow-through skills required.
