How you’ll contribute
$10,000 sign-on bonus paid in two equal installments after 90 days and 12 months of employment
An MRI Technologist who excels in this role:
Reviews patient history and physician's orders. Educates patient regarding procedures, equipment and exam to ensure patient's understanding and cooperation.Â
When ordered, prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.Â
Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.Â
Prepares equipment and supplies.Â
Selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters. Positions patient and performs imaging procedure(s). Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results.Â
Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patient and repeating procedure.Â
Enters, transmits and reports scan results
What we’re looking forÂ
Applicants should have an associate or bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences. Additional requirements include:
License/Certification:Â
Must be registered as an MRI Technologist by the ARRT or ARMRIT and licensed by the state of New Mexico as an MRI Technologist.Â
