Position Overview:
The position assists with the service and maintenance of one or more categories of moderately complex imaging equipment including. Assists with performing installations, repairs, adjustments, and calibrations of imaging equipment within assigned geography. May work independently at times, however, typically work is performed under close supervision with management.
Requirements:
Minimum 2+ years year relevant experience
Modalities: X-ray, MR, CT, Cardiovascular or PET CT
OEM: Multi-vendor( GE, Philips, Siemens)
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of radiology physics, digital technology and mechanics
Knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to imaging equipment, radiation safety and protection
practices.
Knowledge of human anatomy & physiology, and medical terminology and regulatory requirements including TJC, CAP, the California Radiation Control Regulations – title 17, and the California Administrative Code – Title 22
Requires the knowledge base and experience to repair and maintain a wide range of diagnostic imaging equipment quickly and accurately.
Basic skills in the following areas: radiographic systems, diagnostic ultrasound systems, portables, CR readers, Bureau of Radiological Health and Certification procedures.
Verbal and written communication skills

Organizational skills
Basic computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) required
EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
