IMAGING SERVICE ENGINEER - GENERAL X-ray/Portables( multi vendor)

COMPENSATION:
$80,000-95,000 plus OT; Sign-on BonusMinimum 3+ years of experience performing corrective and preventive maintenance on high tech diagnosticequipment. Versatile engineer who can work on multi-modalities- Possess General X-ray / Rad Room, C-arms, Portables experience- Possess formal training in these modalities- Possess formal training on X-ray machinesDESCRIPTIONPerform installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks on diagnostic medical equipment specific medicaldevices. Inspect, test, replace and adjust malfunctioning components and parts. Keep records of systemproblems and issues.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Performs general equipment repairs.2. Performs preventive maintenance.3. Maintains files, supplies, and parts.4. Maintains knowledge current within field.5. Perform cost containment measures by sourcing the most cost efficient measures to maintaindiagnostic equipment.6. Communicates with staff and customers.7. Works on high tech laboratory or diagnostic imaging equipment.8. Maintains regulatory documentation.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES• Exceptional Communication and Customer Service Skills• Ability to analyze and interpret complex information related to the malfunctions of clinical equipmentas described by clinical staff in determining equipment operational condition and ability to followcomplex written instructions, perform tasks and document actions taken.• Ability to perform during emergency or stressful situations.• Ability to learn equipment maintenance and repair procedures from courses, service engineerrepresentatives, and training materials.• Computer and typing skills.• Perform equipment database documentation.



REQUIREMENTSMINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Associate’s degree in Medical Electronics, Electronic Technology, Imaging Service Technology or a

related field OR related military training.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certified Radiology Equipment Service (CRES) and/or Certified Laboratory Equipment Service

(CLES) preferred but not required.

• Vendor raining preferred.

• Must possess specialized training by manufacturer or third party equipment repair
