Manager of Clinical Engineering
Job Summary
The Manager of Clinical Engineering will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of medical equipment in a healthcare facility. They will manage a team of clinical engineers and ensure that all equipment is functioning properly and meets regulatory standards. The Manager of Clinical Engineering will also be responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures related to equipment maintenance and repair.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a team of clinical engineers and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and repaired
Develop and implement policies and procedures related to equipment maintenance and repair
Ensure that all equipment meets regulatory standards and is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Collaborate with other departments to ensure that equipment is properly integrated into the healthcare facility
Provide training and support to clinical engineering staff
Manage the budget for the clinical engineering department
Stay up-to-date with new technologies and equipment in the healthcare industry
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in clinical engineering
Experience managing a team of clinical engineers
Strong knowledge of medical equipment and regulatory standards
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively with other departments
